Continuing our journey to Thailand, after Istanbul, we passed by Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. I had been in the city years ago and this was just a quick stop, for one night.

As we were hungry for Asian food went to Jalan Alor, well-known for its street food.

Coming from New York at beginning winter, just coconut water and fresh tropical fruits would make me satisfied!!!

But of course I could not resist the dumplings and Alex, well, the most versatile barbecue he has ever seen.

Chicken, beef, pork, seafood, vegetables in general and even frog!! ARGH !

Infinity choices...

The Petronas Towers, arguably, are the greatest symbol of the city, so what about having dinner with them (and the moon)?

KL is strongly putting its name on the asian dining scene, many great restaurants have opened there. We chose Fuego, on the 24th floor of the modern building Troika in a complex called sky dining , featuring four different cuisine and atmosphere restaurants.

Tiled flooring, beautiful tapas style menu, pleasant weather. All " al fresco " on a balcony with this amazing view of the towers and the Menara .

Ceviche and guacamole with red potato, yuca and plantain chips.

Do you remenber I said I missed tropical fruits??

Grilled watermelon and cherry tomatoes in a balsamic glaze.

Well, watermelon juice with it!

From there, we walked to the base of the towers to get a closer look at its lightining and impressive size!!! There was a time where it was the biggest building in the world, now it is in 6º pllace, but remain the tallest existing twin structure.
